Fashion Designer
ECKA ANDERSSON
The Back Story

Having a deep appreciation for the arts, Ecka’s creative passions cultivated as early as her toddler years. Whether she was illustrating stories, choreographing dances or sewing costumes, any chance she had to make something out of nothing was a gratifying challenge. She was born from a family of creatives who essentially made their home a haven for nurturing the imagination.
Despite her interest in various artistic disciplines, she developed a penchant for fashion as a young teen, fueling her drive to become a fashion professional. After high school, she studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. During her senior year as an FIT student, she competed in the Underfashion Club’s Annual Femmy Student Design Contest and won the first place award. As a result of her first-place success, her accomplishments were featured in the 2010 and 2013 issues of Intima Magazine. Additionally, she interned at Hanky Panky, and soon graduated with a degree in Fashion Design.
Following her college career, Ecka worked as a designer for Flora Nikrooz, Soma Intimates and Cozy Earth. Her work focuses on making consumers feel beautiful and empowered - inside and out, placing emphasis on quality, comfort and detail. She draws inspiration from the natural world, societal trends, technology, runway and visual arts.
Ecka currently resides in Salt Lake City area, Utah, where she continues to pursue her creative endeavors as a fashion designer.
